Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team. The Bakery Assistant will support our bakers in preparing and serving delicious baked goods in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist bakers in preparing doughs, fillings, and icings
- Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofing cabinets
- Package and label bakery products for display and sale
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
- Provide friendly customer service by assisting with inquiries and orders
Qualifications
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is a plus
- Knowledge of quick-service fast food or restaurant operations
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Passion for the food industry, culinary arts, or café environment
