Our Opportunity:
This leader will be a critical change agent within Project Services to move beyond project execution to delivering business outcomes. They will be responsible for staffing strategies and developing project leaders for the organization. They will closely coordinate across the Project Services organization to establish and execute processes for managing resources that meet the dynamic needs of the project portfolio, provide training/coaching/mentoring to develop the leadership skills of their staff, and build community among the staff. Will work closely with the Program Directors and Leadership Team in Project Services to understand technology project assignment needs, do optimal staff assignment and solicit ongoing feedback regarding performance. This includes assigning employee and contingent talent based on portfolio needs and employee development considerations; Developing a pipeline of quality candidates to fill staffing needs; Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new staff. Chosen candidate will report to a Project Services VP.

What you’ll do:
Leading a large team (up to 25) of business and technical Project Services employees and contingent workers.
Collaborating with peers to create a staffing strategy for Project Services.
Partnering with Project Services Leadership to understand evolving portfolio and department needs as input to staffing strategies.
Defining the appropriate mix of staff roles and grade levels to efficiently and effectively support project execution needs.
Leading change: developing strategies to integrate change, especially behavioral change, throughout the organization.
Creating an effective training strategy and then executing on the strategy to build staff skill sets. Managing staff performance by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback and learning opportunities, and developing improvement plans as needed.
Building staff engagement with regular 1-on-1 meetings, meaningful recognition, motivational support for career goals and identification of development opportunities.
Developing a sense of community among staff in Project Services.

What you have:
Five or more years of experience managing people.
Five or more years of experience in technology project management or business analysis.
Demonstrated passion for managing people in a way that promotes employee engagement.
Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and train staff.
Demonstrated ability to hold staff accountable to performance expectations, taking corrective actions as needed.
Proven ability to interact at a leadership level.
Demonstrated ability to model Leadership behaviors.
