What you'll do.
As Jackrabbit Technologies’ Marketing Manager, you will drive the generation of quality leads through an integrated inbound/content marketing strategy that grows audiences and expands engagement. You will weave content development into Jackrabbit’s culture to create a robust content engine. Feeding on analytics, you will use data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns. In the process, you will integrate your team members into a high-performance digital marketing machine. Specifically, you will:
Develop and refine a comprehensive inbound/content marketing strategy that integrates website, SEO, SEM/PPC, social media, email, messaging, video, digital and print media, and trade show marketing.
Meet or exceed lead generation objectives.
Continuously grow and nurture our content engine, managing topic selection, author assignment, keyword optimization, editorial schedule, and ongoing maintenance.
Continuously grow and nurture all marketing audiences and contacts, applying data management best practices and overseeing integration with data sources.
Execute, test, and optimize external and internal marketing campaigns across all channels.
Manage multiple company websites, social media channels, YouTube, and other online platforms.
Measure, monitor, forecast, and report on key metrics, optimizing continuously based on what you learn.
Collaborate with Sales/Onboarding on lead quality, customer journey, competitive analysis, and content development.
Collaborate with Product on market and competitive analysis and content development.
Collaborate with Client Services on client education, client success, and content development.
Plan, manage, and monitor the marketing budget, basing spending decisions on ROI.
Hire, develop, evaluate, and retain high performing Marketing team members, and evaluate, select, and manage effective external Marketing contractors and vendors.
Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic marketing partnerships.
Oversee trade show marketing logistics, including venue, exhibit displays, staffing, and promotional items.
Oversee all internal and external branding.
Manage inventory, storage, and security of all internal marketing assets.
Make an impact in the company leadership conversation on the COO’s leadership team.
Become a recognized thought leader in the verticals we serve.
What you're about.
You have a passion for powering...in addition, you have:
5+ years digital marketing experience
3+ years experience leading marketing direct reports
4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in planning and executing effective inbound/content digital marketing strategies.
Proficient in interpreting marketing analytics and making data-driven decisions.
Proficient in identifying and applying meaningful metrics.
Proficient in Content Management Systems (CMS; WordPress preferred).
Proficient in sales and marketing automation tools (HubSpot preferred).
Experience utilizing Google Analytics and AdWords to optimize SEO and SEM/PPC.
Strong content writing and editing skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote working environment.
Experience hiring, coaching, and evaluating team members.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
Ability to travel up to 10% (Charlotte-based)/25% (non Charlotte-based); international travel may be required
