The **Senior Financial Analyst** is a key finance business partner role to support a Regional Vice President of Sales and their respective team and region. This position will be responsible to help provide financial insights to help guide and support key business decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst will also provide business analytics support to drive incremental profitable revenue growth as well as ensuring effective spend and budget management.

**Other responsibilities include: **

+ Support sales planning, forecasting and general reporting activities.

+ Drive customer profitability by partnering with key constituents to establish annual quotas for sales, spend and profit to achieve the Annual Operating Plan.

+ Identify and drive spending changes to budget/forecast by uncovering opportunities and risks to annual/quarterly plans.

+ Liaise with key business partners to develop and/or enhance promotional tools for improved efficiency and ROI.

+ Partner with RVP to develop and implement key KPI metrics/scorecard to drive performance management.

+ Work closely with Inventory Management to forecast sample budgets and fulfillment needs.

+ Collaborate with Sales Operations to ensure proposals and quotes meet finance requirements and are done accurately.

+ Engage and works in collaboration with the Product Management & Product Management Finance teams to find solutions to complex deals along with deals requiring custom development.

+ Create an environment that encourages information sharing, team-based resolutions, cross-functional collaboration and process improvement/simplification to ensure superior execution.

+ Ensure that the financial terms and conditions for all major transactions are accurate and executed in accordance with company policy.

+ Ensure all internal controls are in place and adhered to by all field sales personnel.

**Key accountabilities: **

**Reporting and Analysis**

+ Deliver standard pipeline and other sales performance reports by department and territory. Ensure reporting is provided to each level of sales management.

+ Track market share performance in adoption states and analyze open territory trends.

+ Provide analytics and ad-hoc support to sales management; includes evaluating the effectiveness of new performance metrics.

+ Lead the collection and validation of performance data.

+ Leverage dashboard and other reporting tools to support sales performance reporting, monitoring and tracking.

+ Monitors data and provides analysis to illustrate sales trends, identify weaknesses in current sales execution and support future sales strategy.

**Sales Forecasting**

+ Assist and provide reporting to management in the development and evaluation of rolling sales forecast.

+ Engage with sales management to validate sales pipeline and analyze forecast accuracy.

+ Work closely with finance organization to support regular forecasting activities.

**Field Support**

+ Answer queries from sales management, finance and other stakeholders and respond in a timely, professional manner.

+ Prepare presentations, reporting and analytical support for regional sales meetings and other events as needed.

+ Act as a strong contributor to an operating culture that makes possible collaboration, open communications, and a focus on talent development.

+ When applicable, work with depositories on key customer fulfillment issues.


+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required. A degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred but not required.

+ Prior financial business partnering skills preferred.

+ 3-5 years of experience with demonstrated proficiency of managing P&L issues, and interaction with a diversified customer base.

+ Knowledge of SAP, Business Objects and are a plus.

**Additional Skills and Competencies: **

+ Working knowledge of MS Office with strong Excel skills. Proficiency in Access a plus.

+ Strong business acumen is a must. Having the ability to work in the details while also seeing and understanding the bigger picture.

+ Ability to work with complex concepts, analyze data, draAw conclusions, make recommendations while using judgment, experience and industry knowledge.

+ Ability to show initiative and make impactful decisions with little to no supervision.

+ Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

+ Proven ability to build business partnerships.

+ Demonstrated knowledge of financial assessments.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.

+ Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures.
