Mission Linen Supply is currently looking for a Seamstress. The Seamstress must have experience perform sewing, alterations and embellishments to garments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sew garments using needles and threads or sewing machine.
Ability to measure garments and mark or pin-fold alterations lines.
Ability to remove stitches from garments using rippers or razor blades.
Ability to maintain equipment operating by following operating instructions.
Ensures safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Ability to works in the consignment area pulling boxes weighing approx. 20 lbs from the shelf.
Ability to garments from the box, places on hangers, and then assembles the order on a rolling bar.
Ability to transfers garments from a rolling bar (rolls on the floor) and places on trolley that travels on rail system.
Documents production by completing forms.
Communicate with the Production Manager and internal teams.
Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, step on ladders
Must have a strong work ethic, with an eagerness to show initiative to assist in all functions
Computer skills, Word, Excel, Outlook
