This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals recovering from injuries or illnesses. ```Duties``` - Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist - Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and coordination - Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist - Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care - Administer modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and hot/cold packs as directed by the Physical Therapist - Assist with patient transfers and positioning during therapy sessions - Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions ```Skills``` To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Acute care experience: Experience working with patients in acute care settings such as hospitals or rehabilitation centers. - Medical terminology knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology used in physical therapy practice. - Trigger point therapy: Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques to alleviate muscle pain and tension. - Occupational health understanding: Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices. - Anatomy knowledge: Strong understanding of human anatomy and its relation to physical therapy interventions. - Hospital experience: Experience working in a hospital setting, including familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures. - Patient care skills: Ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients during their therapy sessions. - Physiology knowledge: Understanding of human physiology and its relevance to physical therapy treatments.
