Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment for young children.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Create engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, numeracy, and creativity
- Provide a safe and supportive environment where children can learn and play
- Monitor and assess each child's progress to ensure developmental milestones are met
- Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs and development
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere
Qualifications:
- 12 ECE units
- Previous experience working in a preschool, daycare, or childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices
- Familiarity with Montessori or other progressive educational philosophies is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively
- Ability to create and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of young learners
- Passion for promoting child welfare and providing quality education
