The Digital Marketing Intern will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and support the Digital Marketing team in our Stow, Ohio headquarters. As part of this internship, you will learn all the basics of digital marketing. You get hands-on experience, training, and a priceless education in Internet Marketing—learning numerous skills that are NOT taught in school. From paid search and search engine optimization (SEO) to social media and analytics, this person will help support our team to drive demand generation efforts with an emphasis on lead generation, content marketing, email nurturing, sales enablement, and campaign management.
Assist with digital marketing programs including, but not limited to: search marketing, email marketing, online advertising, affiliates and sponsorships outreach, content creation, social media, and virtual and emerging media.
Work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist to optimize digital campaigns and apply that insight and customer behavior trends for use in optimizing all digital marketing initiatives.
Track and measure campaign performance and report on KPIs
Learn how to create a holistic digital campaign from start to finish and present results to Executive staff
Additional marketing projects as assigned
Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, Communications, Psychology, or related field
Prior work experience preferred
3.0 minimum GPA preferred
Proficient in Excel
Effective time management and personal organization skills
Ability to adapt to new IT systems quickly
Must be able to multi task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking, problem solver, and willingness to learn
Knowledge of digital marketing, content creation, social media, paid search (PPC/SEO), and email marketing
Ability to work cross functionally and in a team environment
Excellent communication skills, written and oral
Above average social skills and ability to adapt to different social settings
