We are looking for a driven Social Media Coordinator to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users.
In this hands-on role as Social Media Coordinator you'll develop and implement social media campaigns across our multiple online channels. You will build our daily online presence on social media platforms.
You must have outstanding follow-through in a real-time environment and have experience executing day-to-day social marketing, as well as writing content that will engage and build strong communities.
You will be responsible for executing specific social media strategies and acting as the frontline brands manager by interacting with customers and fans in real time on the companies’ behalf on various web platforms.
Must have working knowledge of SEO principles including keyword research. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social”.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Daily posts to all applicable social media outlets with emphasis on encouraging conversations and engagement.
Become an advocate for the company and act as a liaison across the internet; participating in minute-by-minute online conversations by answering questions, offering solutions and mediating conversations.
Provide relevant content tailored to the applicable networks daily
Proactively engage our target audiences where they congregate, engaging them in thoughtful dialogue and being helpful.
Responsible for the direction and social brand voice of the customer experience across all social channels to maximize customer experience, brand building, product credibility and drive sales.
Track metrics and monitoring relevant conversations
Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.
Grow online communitiesKeep up to date with best practices for all social channels and sharing with team
Coordinate the marketing calendar with online activity
Partner with other departments to ensure proper online messaging and relevancy
Funnel questions to the appropriate internal resources to get quick answers and respond rapidly.
Ensure consistency of messages across multiple networks
Find new opportunities for the company by keeping a pulse on the industry
Prepare reports to update internal staff on usage statistics
Continuous monitoring and coverage of all sites
Monitor online competitor presences/perceptions
Research new blogs and channels for relevance/trend identification
Maintain posting schedules.
Qualifications: BA/BS in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Journalism or related field.
A solid understanding of the social media universe, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, forums, groups, blogs, hashtags, etc.
Passion for creating sharable social content.
Prior experience in B2B customer service, advertising, public relations, or online marketing.
Resourcefulness, ability to connect people and stimulate discussion
Superlative communication skills, including punctuation, grammar and tone.
The ideal candidate must have a proven proficiency in written, oral, and visual communications (i.e., copywriting, editing, presentation, photography, video)Ability to connect with people and stimulate discussion.
Hungry for information and effective at monitoring media.
Great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues while being firm but empathetic
Fluency in social media norms and conventions.
Knowledgeable and experienced in working with all aspects of online marketing and PR.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
Must be able to work in fast-paced environment, multi-task and prioritize assignments.
Ability to interact and collaborate with colleagues from all levels of the organization.
Positive attitude and a sense of humor
Willingness to work during non-standard business hours
Willingness to learn, brainstorm, and share ideas.
Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
