Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is searching for a Customer Care Representative in our Columbus, Ohio location. We are looking for a hardworking, and customer focused individual who is willing to learn and grow with Kimball Midwest.
Work with the Customer Development team, specifically the Customer Development Supervisor to support the sales team through phone interactions with leads, prospects and end-user customers.
This position requires some completed college coursework in business administration or other areas.
This position requires prior customer service experience and the ability to communicate efficiently on the phones.
This position requires basic understanding and proficiency in standard Microsoft computer software programs, Excel, Word, Access and Outlook.
This position requires the ability to work independently, respond quickly to problems, and work in a stressful environment.
This position requires excellent writing and editing skills.
This position requires the ability to adapt and support the Sales Team and their mission; requires the understanding and adherence to the ‘Two Customer Philosophy’.
This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and managers—both orally and in written form.
This position requires the ability to read and write small letters and numbers and the ability to make arithmetic calculations.
$17.00 per hour pay rate.
