This is a part time (1099) position. The opportunity to move into a full time position may be available.
Conduct prompt, thorough and fair investigations by obtaining relevant facts to determine coverage, origin, and extent of loss
Document damage and prepare written estimates using Xactimate software
Can handle partial and full assignments
Keep the client and the insured informed about the claim status with clear, timely and accurate written/oral communication
College degree preferred
2+ years handling property insurance claims
Commercial and personal lines experience preferred
Have own transportation, equipment and software
Good writing and technology skills
Competitive % of flat fee, time and billable expenses
Advancement to full time, higher % pay out and expense reimbursement are available for those candidates who consistently meet and exceed company guidelines.
