SGI Global is seeking a Litigation Support Technologist Services in support of Civil Division operations for the United States Attorney's Office (USAO) for the Northern District of Florida in Pensacola, Florida.
**This position is contingent upon contract award**
Support Civil attorneys, investigators, paralegals, and legal assistants in e-discovery and automated litigation support, including, but not limited to; case review, discovery processing, platform set up, data management, data production, data processing, administration of document review data bases, and presentation of data in complex, data-intensive civil matters.
Provide technical assistance involving Automated Litigation Support. These duties include a variety of information technology skills to meet USAO information needs utilizing network hardware and software capabilities.
Provide document imaging (scanning) and simple coding. Must have experience using various litigation support applications in an automated environment such as LAW PreDiscovery, Relativity, IPRO (8.6 and Eclipse), CaseMap Suite, Trial Director or similar litigation support applications. It is also preferred that the candidate have experience syncing transcripts to corresponding media (audio/ video).
Examines, prepares and processes a variety of technical legal documents that are characteristically voluminous and complex in format. Obtains needed information from files, federal agencies and departments, or other sources.
Provide customer service support including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and ALS training in response to user requirements.
Manage analytic databases and coordinate with other DOJ contractors with regard to research database access and use of databases to develop investigatory leads.
Must have a bachelor's degree
Strong technical background with computers, scanners, and data storage devices and equipment.
Knowledge of current litigation technology tools and processes, such as document imaging, file encryption procedures, database management and design, optical character recognition, electronically stored information processing, secure cloud based file transfer systems (USAfx) and technology-assisted review;
A minimum of two (2) years of experience using electronic document review platforms such as Eclipse and Relativity in the context of litigation.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience using document management and presentation platforms such as CaseMap Suite, LAW PreDiscovery, Trial Director in the context of litigation or trials.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, e.g.) and Apple software and devices.
Preferred candidates will have experience using Eclipse and Relativity databases in the context of litigation.
Preferred candidates will have knowledge and experience assisting in fraud or federal litigation and trials.
Ability to meet established deadlines and work as a team player in a professional office. Skill in meeting and dealing with people in a courteous and tactful manner.
Must be a United States citizen.
