United Airlines is seeking a proactive and motivated Executive Assistant to join our growing Cyber Security team. This team helps to protect the information of our customers and employees and reduce business risk through strong security practices. As an executive assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer and her direct reports. The team will lean on you to manage and protect their calendars and organize key department meetings. You will anticipate the administrative needs of the team in order to ensure the team’s success.


In this role, you’ll provide confidential, high level and key administrative support including, but not limited to:
Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries
Prepare general correspondence, memoranda, expense reports, etc. (which may include presentation preparation)
Coordinate department events and help with coordinating division/companywide events
Manage the corporate card program for the department
Process onboarding/off boarding for employees and vendors
Coordinate department space needs
Screen telephone calls, visitor and e-mail correspondence
Complete projects as assigned and demonstrates ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Interface with all departments within the company and represent the respective leadership team in a highly professional manner
Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers
May coach and/or indirectly supervise other administrative staff
Act as back up for the Senior Officers’ Executive Assistants
Continually seeks to identify and employ methods to improve existing processes to help streamline work.
High School Diploma required
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong computer skills, preferably Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required
Minimum of 5 years work experience as an Executive Assistant supporting Senior Officers required
At least 5 years’ work experience coordinating corporate events, international travel accommodations, and facilities planning
Minimum of 5 years work experience serving as a liaison for Senior Leadership and internal/external Business Partners
Ability to identify and solve complex problems quickly
Exercise judgment to prioritize and make decisions

Ability to work flexible hours required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualifications
Reliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the position
