In 1995, Trinity Hospital, part of the Evangelical Health Systems (EHS) merged with Lutheran General Health System to become the present day Advocate Trinity Hospital which is a 193 licensed-bed facility with approximately 300 physicians representing 50 specialties. This includes advanced heart attack care, expanded Cardiovascular Services, primary stroke care center, oncology/infusion center, Level II special care nursery and an array of surgical specialties not found in most community hospitals. Cross trained for all service lines!
ACLS and PALS. Must take life support classes within 6 months
What You Will Do:
The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room assumes primary responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patients.
This Registered Nurse will also plan and set goals which demonstrate a holistic approach to patients and families. They will assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level and demonstrate a mastery of clinical skills.
