Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant II in the Center for Student Achievement.
Primary Job Duties: Provide administrative support to the Director and Assistant Director, Coordinator, 4 Graduate Assistants and 100 student employees including but not limited to coordinating the general operations of the front office such as phone coverage, talking with families and students in need of assistance, student payroll, filing, etc. Supervise and schedule 14 student employees in daily and evening coverage of CSA. Monitor TutorTrac computer log-in system, run TutorTrac reports and teach students how to use tracking system, manage purchase orders, requistions, budget and travel reimbursements. Schedule workshops, academic coaching appointments, including all retention initiatives. Manage and update office website. Coordinate staff meetings for para professionals and professional staff.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and 3-5 years of experience in an educational environment. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to proofread and edit written documents. Skilled in using Mircrosoft Office, TutorTrac, Peoplesoft and Cascade website database. Ability to interact with students, families, faculty and staff in a courteous and efficient manner. Abide by FERPA regulations and uphold confidentiality. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and execute multiple and continuing assignments in a fast paced, high volume student learning environment.
This is a full-time, non-exempt State position with a full benefits package. Starting salary is $35,728 annually, which is approximately $17.13 per hour.
