Program Overview:
The Internship Program provides participants with a ten-week orientation to Wells Fargo and the Technology groups within our organization. The experience includes relevant work assignments, real-world training, group projects, and exposure to key leaders. It is designed to provide undergraduate students with a blend of business, technical, and personal developmental training. The program targets exceptional rising seniors with consideration for exceptional rising juniors.

In addition to participating in the Wells Fargo Corporate Intern Program virtual learning series, our interns will have the opportunity to understand the day-to-day responsibilities of a team member and gain comprehensive professional and industry experience. The program exposes interns to a variety of business groups, providing a firm understanding of the company's operations, business strategies, and corporate culture.

Internships are available in Chandler, Charlotte, and Minneapolis, with interns being assigned to a line of business for the entire internship and are a direct pipeline into our full time associate program upon student graduation. Opportunities and locations are based on business need.

Intern Opportunities:
With the Technology Intern Program, you will gain comprehensive professional and industry experience and be hired into one of the following divisions for the entire ten weeks:

Enterprise Information Security (EIS) provides products and services to equip Wells Fargo team members with the tools, knowledge and expert resources to protect Wells Fargo’s infrastructure, corporate data, and sensitive customer information. EIS’ products and services span from standardized enterprise offerings such as automated password resets, access requests/certifications, and encryption products, to threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment, and security monitoring
Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) manages the heart of what enables us to satisfy our customers’ financial needs and help them succeed financially. EIT leads technology for one of the highest market cap financial services institutions in the world, helping 76.6 million customers conduct an average of 95 million transactions each day, helping more end-customers every day, both in the United States and internationally, than any other group in our company. EIT helps them directly every time they do business with us, delivering a Wells Fargo experience and ensuring their security, regardless of channel. EIT also helps them in our role as trusted business partners working with the business to develop and deliver value-added products and services

Required Qualifications

1+ month of professional experience through internships, part-time, or full-time work

Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring
Completion of coursework in computer science, information systems, or a similar technology-related field of study

Other Desired Qualifications
Enrolled to receive undergraduate degree with graduation date December 2019-May 2022 with a technology-related major. Computer Science majors preferred.
Prior Internship experience preferred

Experience, knowledge of, or coursework with:
Information Technology/Computer Information Systems
Java (J2EE)
.NET Development
QA Testing
Project management methodology
Oracle or other relational database(s)
Computer Network(s)
Technical Business Analyst skills
Technical Writing/Documentation
Information Security
