Service Manager
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician at Monterey Ranch apartment Homes in Austin, Texas.

Monterey Ranch is Northland's largest community that includes 1072 thoughtfully designed apartment homes in Southwest Austin. The sprawling community has wonderful amenities including a shimmering swimming pool, hiking and biking trails, covered parking, movie theater, fitness classes, storage space, and community business center. The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, preventative maintenance and construction projects. He/she will support the Community Manager in resident relations, maintenance employee relations, building improvements, capital improvements, budget preparation, preventative maintenance and other tasks as required. Responsibilities include supervision of on-site maintenance staff, including recruiting, training and development, assistance with budgets and variance reports, obtaining bids from vendors and contractors, purchasing and maintaining supplies and equipment, work orders, and on call scheduling and assistance.

Job Requirements
Service Manager
Qualified candidates will have maintenance experience on a mid-rise property, extensive knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting, five years or more experience in residential real estate maintenance, be available to work on call and some weekend time, and supervisory experience.
