Raytheon is looking to hire an experienced Senior Data Protection – Encryption Strategy Expert who will join the security team of a major nationwide organization, with thousands of sites, to continually improve its complex multi-protocol nationwide network.

This job will be located in Morrisville, NC (outside Raleigh, North Carolina).

Job responsibilities will include:
Resource should have significant experience managing Data Protection and Encryption deployments in a large IT enterprise.
Experience in implementing or architecting information security systems with a strong understanding of information security regulatory requirements and compliance issues.
Knowledge of general security concepts and methods such as vulnerability assessments, data classification, privacy assessments, incident response, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures and governance.
Robust understanding of operating system fundamentals (Windows, UNIX, mainframe), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.) and application programming/scripting languages (Python, C, Java, Perl, Shell).
Demonstrated experience in three or more of the following areas:
Data leakage/content monitoring and filtering
Mobile device security
Key management/Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Digital Rights Management (DRM)
Logging, monitoring, and security event management
Robust understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues affecting clients related to privacy and data protection, such as PCI DSS, GDPR, and NIST
Secure messaging/email encryption
Disk, file, device and database encryption
Data classification and privacy policies
Secure information storage
Secure information storage
Project management of information security projects including development of project charters and plans; management of project execution and successful implementation of the planned solution.
Experience in process definition, workflow design and process mapping.
Excellent leadership and teaming skills with advanced written and verbal communication skills.

8+ years related experience for G10
The position requires U.S. Person status or a Non-U.S. Person be eligible to obtain Authorization.

Required Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Engineering, Science, or a related field. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.
