Work is performed under the general supervision of the Contracts Management Director with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Responsibilities include: Assist and support the Contracts Management Director with the day to day operations, including but not limited to monitoring and managing the contracts and grants from the following entities: Department of State Health Services (Mental Health, Substance Abuse and PATH), Department of Aging and Disability Services (IDD and PACE), Texas Department of Criminal Justice (Outpatient Substance Abuse and TCOOMMI), Veteran Administration, as well as other contracts/grants and center-wide sub-contracts. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing submission timelines, monitoring outcome measures and targets; distributing contract information and assuring Center Knowledge and compliance with contract requirements, regulations and rules; providing technical assistance to internal and external providers and payers; attending contract related meetings both internally and externally; developing and distributing evaluation and monitoring reports as requested; maintain contract files and database of assigned contracts; serving as the back-up to all Center contracts and credentialing processes. Participate in meetings, serve on committees, and assist with other work related events. Communicate, verbally and/or in writing, to supervisor and other appropriate staff; complete all required documentation within established time frames; and assist with special projects or assignments.

Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with flexibility to meet program needs.


Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university, with major in a related field and at least three (3) years of full-time related work experience. Must be detailed oriented and have the skills to review and understand complex material. Knowledge and skill in operating equipment (phone, fax, copier, printer, etc.) and personal computer with Microsoft Office products is required. Travel is required, using personal vehicle, with reimbursement at the Center established rate. Must have current Texas driver's license and be insurable under Center insurance.
