Purdue University Fort Wayne invites applications for the Coordinator of Athletic Video and Technology position for Athletics. This position will:

Be responsible for providing comprehensive live broadcast production of required events for on-line streaming of ESPN3 quality production
Hire, supervise, and train crew in operation of HD cameras, replay unit, graphics, and production switcher
Be responsible for all aspects of the video editing including purchasing, system maintenance, and upgrades
Analyze and make recommendations on video equipment acquisition plans and budget
Organize and edit new and existing video footage to produce creative video content including event-related activities as well as community service, personal stories, etc.
Editing game highlights, creating intro videos and hype videos, producing feature content for television, shooting and creating green screen graphics and general shooting assignments at sporting events including streaming of events such as press conferences and Hall of Fame ceremonies
Be responsible for the production, integration and distribution of videoboards and/or LED boards
Work with Marketing and Sponsorship/Development departments with special projects and special events
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical requirements associated with multimedia entities
Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director for Media Services

Bachelor's degree
Three years experience in TV or multi-media production
Experience directing multi-camera sporting events for TV, web, or video board applications
Previous experience in professional or collegiate athletics
Familiarity with video processes and equipment (Newtek Tricaster or Carbonite switcher and Newtek 3play) for streaming live events
Significant experience in utilizing Adobe Creative Suite programs (Premier, Photoshop, After Effects

Degree in Video Production, Video Technology, Broadcasting, Radio and Television or related field
Experience in communication, marketing, sport management, graphic design, video production or related field
Experience with Motion Rocket video board software
Knowledge of Sling Studio
