The Financial Systems Analyst will work as a liaison between Finance and IT to facilitate in design, testing and implementation of Oracle enhancements. This position will also assist with Oracle production support, interfaces and troubleshoot issues.

Job Duties:
Conduct interviews to gather user requirements for reports, GAPS and other projects
Ensure that testing activities will allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals
Fulfill end–user testing requirements, and identify and resolve system issues
Collaborate with IT, Functional users, developers and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications
Support Oracle production issues for Finance, Tax, and Accounting as needed
Analyze the existing systems and highlight areas of improvement
Prepare test results, reports and project status to management
Fulfill the role of a subject matter expert in requirement elicitation
Document requirements, create functional specifications and prepare flowcharts
Oversee the development of the product as per the specifications
Validate the functionality of the end product according to the requirement specifications
Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports
Assist with other needed requirements

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related work experience; requires knowledge of Accounting and Financial transactions
Experience in working within an ERP application. Oracle experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of data and processing modeling
Ability to understand the big picture of an ERP system
Analytical and investigation skills
Strong Microsoft Office Skills, especially with Excel
Quickly learn new systems
Multi-task between multiple applications
Ability to organize and plan multiple activities which require close attention to detail
Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
