We are seeking a Provider Services Representative to support our growing team of health care providers located in the East Bay. This position will be located in Antioch.

A strong applicant must be able to work independently, multitask, work well under pressure, have excellent written and communication skills, is computer savvy, and possess a positive can-do attitude.

Job Skills/Requirements:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Credentialing and re-credentialing physicians with hospitals, insurance companies and membership applications.
Build and/or maintain all Providers profiles in Epic Care’s credentialing software with their most current information.
Annually attest Providers CURES profiles.
Maintain all Providers profiles in CAQH with their most current information.
Monitor hospital-proctoring procedures for new physicians.
Adhere to Medicare guidelines and process new clinicians using PECOS and the EHR program of Medicare.
Monitor and correct insurance company and society websites for accuracy regarding the practice and physicians.
Monitor, track and update professional licenses for clinical staff and forward as appropriate to hospitals.

Education Requirements:
AS Degree in business/ healthcare related field required.

4-year degree in business/healthcare related field preferred.

2 years prior credentialing in a hospital/medical office setting required.

PECOS and DHCS PED experience preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office/Mac equivalent a plus

Ideal candidates will be able to balance the above tasks while maintaining flexible, friendly interaction with clients and staff. The ability to work independently, proactively and adapt appropriately to changing priorities is a must.

This is a demanding but rewarding position with room for growth. As a growing medical practice, our patients come first. Respectful communication when problem solving is essential. Recent graduates will be considered, but at least 12 months experience in a medical office setting with EMR experience is preferred.
