InMoment is looking for a smart, creative and detail-oriented Content Marketing Manager to join our team. This role requires a passion for content that produces results, not to mention a high level of organization, attention to detail, project management prowess, exceptional writing skills and the ability to create creative, high-quality content.
This role is responsible for all content marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition and customer retention. The ideal candidate excels at creative storytelling and boiling down complex subjects into digestible and compelling content always with an eye on performance optimization.
Plan and execute a content strategy that drives high engagement and results.
Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience (including blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).
Serve as editor-in-chief for all content to ensure quality, clarity and consistency.
Manage internal and external writers, and produce content as needed.
Collaborate with brand, product, sales and digital/design teams to deliver engaging, relevant, effective content that speaks to stakeholders and our audience.
Work as part of a team to contribute to content ideation and research
Manage distribution of content across all channels.
Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
Collect, monitor and analyze social and website metrics, and make improvements accordingly.
Establish closed-loop analytics with sales and digital to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
Understand and communicate technical subjects in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
Maintain an understanding of content assets and performance, conducting regular audits to ensure that InMoment content is fresh and relevant.
Optimize all content for SEO, lead conversions and engagement
Analyze competitors in the industry to identify their strengths and weaknesses in the marketplace
Stay updated on industry trends and adjust content strategy as needed.
Coordinate other content and campaigns as needed.
2-3 years of content marketing experience preferred
Exceptional communicator and creative/strategic thinker
Exemplary writing and editing skills
Ability to use data analysis to inform all decisions and provide regular reporting
Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software
Excellent project management skills (Trello, Slack)
Pro-active, reliable team player
Bonus skills: Wordpress, HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, social media experience, baton twirling.
