ENVE is seeking an experienced Document Control Engineer to join our team at ENVE HQ in Ogden. The Document Control Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the ENVE document control system, including part number generation and tracking, BOM finalization, ECR/ECN process and maintaining our system and process for approving all controlled documents.
What You'll Do
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Create final raw part Bill of Material (BOM) in SAP for all new projects
Update changes to raw part BOMs for existing products in SAP
Initiate and track ECRs (Engineering Change Requests)
Finalize ECNs (Engineering Change Notices and facilitating the sign off of final documents.)
Tracking and closure of Temporary Deviations
Generate and track part numbers used in engineering for new products in development.
Work with engineering, production and quality teams to ensure all controlled documents are uploaded, maintained and approved in EPDM. (Controlled documents may include but are not limited to standard operating procedures, work instructions, forms, templates and drawings.)
Serve as the administrator for our CAD and EPDM systems.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
May be asked to develop CAD models, drawings and assemblies for engineering in support of manufacturing and new product development.

What We're Looking For
Degree in a technical field; Bachelor’s or above preferred
1-3 years’ experience in document control
Working knowledge of MS Office applications
Working knowledge of SolidWorks
Knowledge of documentation standards and change order/revision processes
A knowledge of quality system documentation library structure
Able to manage multiple projects with little to no supervision
Excellent attention to detail to ensure document integrity
Excellent communication skills
Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills: Possesses a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in document control processes and related systems; stays up-to-date on current developments and trends in the field.
Quality Orientation: Accomplishes tasks by considering all areas involved, no matter how small; showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; being watchful over a period of time.
Information Monitoring: Sets up ongoing procedures to collect and review information needed to manage ongoing activities within the scope of the document control engineer.
