The Mechanical Engineering Technician Summer Internship Program is a strategic program that enables participants to combine their coursework experience with the skills and real-world experience needed to broaden their knowledge across the Mechanical Engineering Technician spectrum.
Through our student internship, you'll benefit from the combination of classroom theory and real-world experience. You will receive on-the-job training where interns can work with multiple areas of Diesel Engine build, fabricate and test.
Our internships will give you hands-on experience and valuable knowledge that will last you a lifetime. You'll make valuable contacts and get the inside view of Mechanical Engineering from the industry leader.
For this position, your major duties will include engine tear downs and engine rebuilds, Fabrication work, Installation of a Midrange/ Heavy Duty engine in the test cell, and Understands Test Line Support and the basic information that is in a test plan, be able to understand test sequence and the general running of a test cell and any associated hardware. All job experience will be directly related to the completion of your field of study.
