As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for leading the Financial Planning & Analysis function and supporting the executive leadership team growth & scale initiatives as well as strategic long-term planning. This position will report directly to the CFO and will require a blend of strong financial, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Develop, perform, and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting - trends in sales, SG&A, provider performance, product line profitability, membership, medical costs, and other areas of business
Support the development of establish strategies, plans, and processes to improve profitability and cost efficiencies
Lead in the financial management of capital, operating expense and develops metrics, benchmarks and analytics to guide the appropriate investment in infrastructure
Research economic progressions to assist with the organization's financial planning
Present findings and recommendations to CEO and CFO
Collaborate with UHGV’s Associates and principals on financial planning and analysis
Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or similar area
5+ years of broad finance experience - prior experience in FP&A, accounting or treasury or 2 + years investment banking, management consulting, private equity or venture capital preferred
Expert skills in MS Excel, valuation and modeling
Strong interpersonal, communication and management skills
Strong analytical, project management and problem solving skills
Experience thinking creatively and comfort being hands-on in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including MS Word and PowerPoint skills
Master’s degree in Finance, Management, Business Administration or related field
Experience in healthcare
Advanced financial planning, analysis technical skills and financial modeling skills
Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills with experience in developing executive materials with high-level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in ambiguous situations and have influence across organizational boundaries
