Job Description:Primary Purpose:
LGS Innovations is searching for individual technical
contributors that thrive working in a team environment
with technical subject matter experts on system
development, implementation, and integration and test
activities. Interns will work closely with each other
and with seasoned engineers on projects that expose them
to system development and test methods for
telecommunications technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform work under close mentor guidance including
but not limited to:
  • Contribute to high performance technical teams
to innovate and execute both short-term and
long-term project goals
  • Hardware and/or software development tasks for
systems and tools; Contribute to briefing
project results and demo software and/or
hardware to technical and non-technical
  • Requirements engineering methods and tools;
research and define potential solutions to
challenging data communication problems
  • Create or maintain design documentation,
system/software configurations
  • Integration and test methods and tools;
integration hardware, software, or subsystems
into large systems, design test cases,
evaluation and report results

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Travel to other LGS locations or customer sites as
  • Understand and adhere to all LGS Ethical and
Compliance policies
  • Proactively ensure a safe work environment and
adhere to LGS EH&S policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Consistent and reliable attendance required
  • If required, obtain/retain a government security
clearance at the level required to perform the
duties of the position

Job Requirements:Skills and Knowledge:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility and ability
to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated effective teamwork skills
  • Minimum program commitment of 8 weeks
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and
other software applications as required

Minimum Education and Experience:
Sophomores and Juniors pursuing a Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer
Science, or Computer Engineering.
