Job Description
Our people and our culture are the foundation of our business. ProService is growing and we must provide the talent supporting this growth, continuously improving our service as we get bigger. The mission of the Director of Talent Acquisition is to own and drive our recruiting systems through development of our employer brand, executing on our talent acquisition strategy to recruit and hire high performers at ProService, providing internal and external market intelligence, building and maintaining relationships with senior and executive level management, leading and coaching the talent acquisition team and proactively identifying opportunities to leverage our experience to support our clients.

Builds ProService’s employer brand within the community as a destination employer.
Continuously evaluates our employer brand and executes strategies to be known as the destination employer in Hawai’i.
Maintains relationships internally and externally with partners and individuals, including alumni, with the goal of attracting high-caliber candidates.
Develops proactive recruitment strategies that anticipate future talent needs of the organization.
Works with department leads to develop analysis of each department’s org structure, hiring needs and methods to identify and resolve talent gaps.
Guides team in developing specific recruiting strategies and activities to address the talent gaps.
Ensures recruiters create and maintain an active flow of qualified candidates by utilizing and participating in a broad range of sourcing activities including, but not limited to, social networking, internet and database mining, job boards, job fairs, cold calling, and employee referrals.
Diversifies sourcing strategies with the goal of reducing reliance on job boards, with a focus on community-based recruiting, social media recruiting and database mining that ensures jobs are filled with quality, high performing candidates.
Provides positive and effective leadership to the talent acquisition team.
Leads, guides and mentors team. Exemplifies the company’s core values and core competencies to be successful at ProService.
Serves as coach, mentor and co-owner of individual performance. Holds recruiters accountable for results and monitors and addresses performance issues immediately and appropriately.
Monitors and reports on actual versus needed activity and results of recruiter.
Trains and gives constant feedback to staff on recruiting and interviewing best practices.
Consistently hits recruiting goals and metrics for the recruiting team.
Establishes the right goals and metrics and ensures they are met while maintaining a work environment that fosters positive morale.
Leads the team on meeting aggressive deadlines for all open positions while ensuring top of the line customer service and communication to all potential employees and internal stakeholders.
Focuses the team to work on the right things at the right time.
Positively contributes to being a peer amongst the Director group and a leader within ProService.
Builds strong relationships with hiring managers across the company and supports their growth as hiring managers.
Collaborates with the IHR team and leadership to ensure the company’s purpose, mission, priorities, core values, and employee promises are communicated effectively with the goal of delivering a well-aligned workforce.
Constantly looks for ways to improve our recruiting systems.
Analyzes recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in selection process; establish and implement improvements.
Vets the development of interviewing guidelines, evaluation methods, and training for making the hire, to ensure that all hiring managers are equipped with the resources to identify and hire top-tier talent.
Reviews and analyzes post-hire evaluation tools to consistently improve the quality of hires and search processes.
Identifies opportunities for our expertise to build partnerships with our clients
Works with the Client HR team to develop training sessions on talent acquisition that are beneficial to clients
Evaluates outsourcing opportunities for assisting clients with recruiting processes.

Minimum of 5 years successful leadership/management experience.
7-10 years of full cycle recruitment/talent acquisition experience.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with iCims Talent Applicant Tracking System
Experience with recruitment outsourcing
Master’s degree, and/or PHR or SPHR certification
