Perry Homes is seeking a full time Junior Model Home Designer to join our team!

Summary of Position

This position will assist the Designers, Manager, and Director of Model Homes. This individual will also participate in Department-wide projects and provide general support to the Department as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for selecting and maintaining furniture and accessories in unsold inventory homes.
Maintain reports related to the contents in unsold inventory homes.
Assist Model Home Designers in all aspects of the design process, including drawings, ordering furnishings and accessories, maintaining reports and processing vendor invoices.
Assist in model home installations and close downs.
Assist Manager and Director of Model Homes on projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities

No supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree in Interior Design or Design-related field preferred.
Current valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Must be willing to travel locally for model home installations.
Ability to build and maintain relationships and communicate with others effectively, both orally and in writing, in a professional and competent manner.
Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals, to compute percentages, and to perform basic algebra and geometry.
Demonstrated organization and time management, which includes the ability to multi-task and run multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining thoroughness and precision.
A team-oriented, proactive and adaptable work ethic.
