The Corporate Advertising Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Senior Graphic Designer.
The Senior Graphic Designer works collaboratively with Publications Manager, designers, copywriters and marketing directors to design and produce community print publications, e-newsletters and e-vites for Acute Care facilities and corporate recruitment efforts. Responsible for initial designs through revisions and print production. Researches and selects appropriate photography, directs photoshoots and retouches photographs when necessary. Maintains consistent templates and style sheets across numerous publications. Reviews printer proofs for accuracy.
Key Responsibilities include:
Designs community publications for acute care facilities from start to completion.
Manages projects through the various stages, including revisions based on hospital marketing directors’ input.
Performs other duties such as creating email marketing campaigns
(e-newsletters, e-vites and announcements) as assigned/required.
Knowledge of Creative Suite via Creative Cloud, Constant Contact and or Mail Chimp and basic HTML required. Detail-oriented and works well within tight deadlines.
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of printing procedures and mid-to-advanced level knowledge in email marketing. Proficient on a Macintosh computer.
Bachelors in Graphic Design or related field required.
Five to eight years of agency or corporate experience as Senior Graphic Designer.
Experience in editorial/publication print and email design required.
Experience in designing for healthcare industry preferred, but not required.
Familiar with Active Campaign a plus.
Adaptable, high energy, creative problem-solving individual with flexible and collaborative work style.
Possesses confident design concepts and an optimistic work ethic.
Ability to present ideas to colleagues and articulate a clear creative vision.
Must have strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to handle numerous concurrent tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment enthusiastically.
Travel Requirements: 0 – 10% domestic US travel (depending on projects).
