POSITION SUMMARY
As an HR Generalist you will support the HR department in implementing policies, programs, and initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture. Your role will involve recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor regulations. You will be instrumental in aligning HR strategies with business goals to drive organizational effectiveness.

OBJECTIVES
● Efficiently manage the recruitment process to fill open positions within the company while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
● Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new hires to enhance retention and integration into the company culture.
● Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts promptly and effectively.
● Support managers in implementing performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on employee development plans.
● Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs to enhance skills and knowledge across the organization.
● Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, regularly updating them as needed to reflect legal changes and best practices.
● Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, conducting audits as necessary.
● Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, providing information and support to employees as needed.
● Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve job satisfaction and retention rates.
● Track and analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, recruitment metrics) to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
● Support strategic workforce planning to meet future organizational needs through effective talent management.
● Ensure clear and effective communication regarding HR policies and programs to all employees.
● Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
● 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
● HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
● This position may require occasional lifting of materials (up to 25 lbs) and moving about the office environment.
● Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer and phone.
● Will involve some travel to various company sites or job fairs as needed.
