System analysis: Must have experience and be able to understand, determine and optimize trade-offs between system weight, NVH, performance, package, efficiency and cost of axles and driveline components. System level understanding of design and component functionality: Understand the steps required to identify root cause and close development testing issues. Lead cross functional team to resolution of open issues. Monitor and respond to quality indicators and warranty trends to perform root cause analysis. Prepare/present to upper management using the 6-Panel process. Support warranty spend reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
Transmission/Driveline experience preferred. Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills System engineering experience preferred Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize work Experience leading teams to resolve complex durability/manufacturing concerns Knowledge of AWS, BSAQ, ECB, EVB Strong communication, presentation and planning skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Share Point Six Sigma experience a plus
