Are you interested in joining a dynamic, inclusive, and growing high tech team? Integrated Defense Systems is looking for a Senior Multi-Disciplined Engineer I/II to support the Advanced Technology organization in Tewksbury.
The mission of Advanced Technology is to develop and mature key technical discriminators through Contract Research and Development (CRAD) with our Science and Technology (S&T) customers. Through teamwork and collaboration across the company, we develop the next generation of advanced capabilities for the warfighter and civil authority customers.
As a key member of the Advanced Technology team, this position supports the deputy director in the overall capture of new business for AT. An important responsibility of this position will be to support AT's efforts with University business and relations, helping to develop strategic partnerships with academia. The AT organization teams with numerous high-end universities in pursuit of critical next generation technologies. This person will be responsible for identifying, developing and cultivating those relationships to enhance our competitive offerings to the customer.
In addition, this position will support AT proposal development as well as CRAD technical program execution. This includes the identification of new business opportunities, development of white papers and technical proposals, preparation and presentation of IPDS gate reviews, estimation of product/services costs, and development of statements of work and specifications and engagement with customers.
BS in Engineering or Sciences
Minimum of four (4) years of engineering experience
Experience leading Internal Research & Development projects
Experience working Innovation Challenge projects
Knowledge of IPDS
Experience with modern business tools including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and RShare
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task to achieve good results across multiple priorities
Ability to work in a team environment and effectively direct, influence, motivate and supervise team members
Experience in obtaining Intellectual Property on emerging technologies
A secret clearance is required
MS in Engineering, Sciences, or Management
Experience in a multi-discipline environment working in Contract Research & Development, specifically in new business capture, proposal development, technology evaluation, program management, and technical contribution.
Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
Earned Value Management (EVMS) experience
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS)
