Key Responsibilities

Maintain an intimate knowledge of assigned primary audiences and provide proactive actionable insights to drive strategy and programming

Use advanced analytics and media measurement to deliver new reporting techniques and build out new actionable insights

Deliver against the defined insights roadmap for the primary audiences in order to build a portfolio of proactive insights. These insights include but are not limited to: platform demographics and sizing, conversation seasonality, share of voice, white space identification, trending topics, sentiment analysis, key influencers, content optimization and competitive intelligence

Leverage industry knowledge to become the subject matter expert for assigned audience groups in order to have effective data driven conversations with team members and cross functional partners

Audit all tool sets for relevancy and impact on the role, and identify new tools as needed to provide actionable insights

During audience planning and content briefs, the Sr. Analyst will be responsible for partnering with the audience teams and facilitating questions regarding project goals and insights opportunities.

The Sr. Analyst will work with the programming planners to provide digital media insights that dictate the larger sports, culture and gaming Media Network strategy.

Lead insight sharing presentations and host “lunch and learns”

Building global relationships with country counterparts in order to impact global media network strategy and goals
7-8 years of sports/music/entertainment analytics experience related to digital media consumption, user behavior and engagement, or programming and content performance

Strategic thinker with expert analytical skills and the ability to find and tell a clear story and generate actionable insights using on data analysis and visualization.

Experience with regressions analysis, predictive modeling, media effectiveness and ROI measurement

Practical experience and work stream implementation of SQL, R or Python

Deep understanding of digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), content strategies, and performance measurement

Experience with BI tool dashboards, including: Tableau, Looker, SAP Orca, Google Data Studio

Proficient in Google Analytics, YouTube analytics, Sprinklr, social business manager tools, social listening and audience measurement

Effective communication and ability to grow and maintain trust with partners

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related discipline

MBA or Data Science Masters Preferred

Certification in web based analytics tool sets a plus (Google Analytics IQ, comScore Certified Expert, Adobe Digital Analyst Certification, Digital Analytics Association Certified Web Analyst)
