Because Woundtech provides expert wound care services wherever the patient resides, we save time and eliminate the cost of co-pays and transportation expenses. Utilizing a telehealth based platform where bedside clinicians collaborate with wound care nurses in a call center, Woundtech provides comprehensive wound care to health plan and medical group patients, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and Assisted Living Facilities, utilizing the most advanced wound care products.

Job Description:

Within our growing enterprise, we are looking for a Public Relations and Marketing Specialist to manage all aspects of our public-facing brand. We are interested in penetrating new markets and increasing brand visibility. The successful candidate will be responsible for unifying our brand across all print and digital channels, establishing a social media presence across multiple platforms and creating an editorial calendar for content marketing.

What You Get To Do Daily:

  • Work with multiple functions within the company, and third parties to ensure messaging is consistent across all channels
  • Create reach: Drive a creative PR program to solidify our brand positioning and initiatives
  • Create two publications per month
  • Develop editorial calendar
  • Maintain strong relationships with key business and trade press in our space while ensuring we're at the epicenter of award submissions (and wins!)
  • Advertise employee perks
  • Nurture presence: Research, organize, execute and be present at external event participation in industry or initiative-focused conventions, conferences, networking events, meetups
  • Corporate messaging with brand-focused content for local and national markets via PR strategy and written communication
  • Press packets & releases, award submissions, blog posts and more, all while being at the pulse of the latest industry contacts and accolades we need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Motivated, self-starting rock-star with important press relationships that will catapult Woundtech’s brand awareness
  • 3-5+ years’ public relations experience, preferably in the marketing industry
  • B2B and consumer experience required, with experience at a B2B company highly preferred
  • A proven track record of delivering PR and media strategy, with an extensive network of journalists and publications
  • Strong and clear communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Creatively-minded with a tenacious mentality for achieving company goals in new ways and innovative narratives
  • Extensive knowledge of public relations strategies and protocols
  • Familiarity with digital marketing analysis tools
  • Willingness to stay on top of the latest marketing trends and developments
