Manages and plans the design, development, maintenance, safety and integrity of databases.
Manages and maintains data in all production and non-production databases and replication servers.
Conducts audits of database products and data architecture artifacts for compliance with established standards, policies, configuration guidelines, and procedures.
Initiates preventative and corrective action to ensure all database servers and database designs meet or exceed processing requirements for performance and reliability.
Analyzes the organization's database needs and develops a long-term strategy for data storage.

Assesses and effectively manages all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure activities are in alignment with the bank's and unit's risk appetite and risk management framework.

Required Education and Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
