The Product Director, Chronic Care Management will be accountable for the design, product development strategy and execution of a Population Health Solutions (PHS) product suite to support Medicare membership. The Product Director is a leadership role responsible for listening to market feedback and anticipating future needs to drive existing and new product development and innovations of their product to achieve ongoing performance standards and PHS growth objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for the full product lifecycle management, including: strategy, design, development, management and end-of-life of new, existing or acquisition products
Leverage market insights to understand market/customer needs to identify new opportunities or make adjustments to current product offerings
Accountable for delivering product performance against expectations and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position, and optimal product performance to meet customer and market needs
Accountable to the specific product results (P&L, NPS, affordability)
As thought leader and expert for the product, partner with internal or external stakeholders (key customers, product partnerships, etc.) to define and drive future product direction
Review product performance against expectations and facilitate and influence changes to the product portfolio to ensure optimal performance
Responsible for prioritization and securing capital and resources to develop new products, product enhancements and operational improvements
Responsible for interoperability with adjacent products to ensure a comprehensive consumer experience
Understand market stakeholders to ensure value at each level – clients, consumers, providers, regulators, accreditation, etc.
Serve as the product champion and subject matter expert for business and functional partners
Attract and develop a product team of talented thought leaders including product managers and product development staff
Provide leadership, direction, mentoring and support of the product team and foster collaboration across product teams within the enterprise
Work within a matrixed environment to accomplish goals and achieve seamless execution and service delivery; influence leaders in other functions and areas of the business to support product initiatives
Work with delivery teams to achieve strong NPS scores for the portfolio of products and solutions

Required Qualifications

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required
8+ years of experience as a Product leader with a deep understanding of new product development, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams around product goals and objectives
Proven leader with demonstrated success leading a product team and managing a P&L
Deep product development expertise in the health care industry
Experience in driving deep, productive relationships with senior-level client executives
Deep acumen in customer-experience, market orientation, business acumen, technical skills, soft skills
Strategic vision and thinking; ability to position the organization for the future, looking beyond the present situation to conceptualize key trends and identify changing market demands
Comfortable working in a highly-matrixed organization; adept at setting direction and establishing process for the organization and ensuring flawless delivery
Proven ability to lead through change, manage, motivate and develop a staff and attract and retain outstanding talent
Proven ability to analyze complex market opportunities and develop creative solutions to a wide variety of unique market problems
Proven ability to build relationships with people from diverse areas of the organization
Effectively influences and communicates at the C-suite level
Innovator that brings fresh ideas and new thinking to the PHS product organization
Travel as required

Preferred Qualifications:
Advance degree (e.g., MBA, MHA)
Experience developing clinical products with collaboration and/or integration with primary care providers
Experience working with Medicare products and services
Product development strategy and execution for Chronic Care products or services
Experience leading digital transformation in a product development and management role; experience in digital products and solutions delivery
