Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensed in multiple states.
Location: Remote.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team for 5 hours per week.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients to determine the appropriate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide medication management and prescribe psychotropic medications as needed.
- Collaborate psychiatrists, schools, therapists and other mental health providers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
- Monitor and review patient progress through regular follow-up sessions, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for coping with symptoms.
- Stay updated with the latest research, developments, and best practices in psychiatry, attending conferences and engaging in continuous professional development.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other related information in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the practice of psychiatry and maintain a high level of professional and ethical conduct.
Requirements:
- Advanced Practice Nursing degree (NP, APRN or PMHNP) from an accredited school.
- Board certification.
- Valid and unrestricted license to practice in multiple states.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience in medication management.
- Proficiency in providing evidence-based psychotherapy interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a commitment to promoting their well-being and recovery.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage a diverse caseload.
- Adherence to ethical guidelines and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Pay: $120.00 - $150.00 per hour
