Beaty Construction was founded in 1965 and is a heavy highway civil construction company located in Boggstown, Indiana. We are seeking a dedicated person to help maintain and coordinate safety and equipment records for our company. The ideal candidate will assist in the organization's equipment revenue tracking and safety functions.
Responsibilities for Fleet and Safety Specialist:
- Prepare and summarize weekly utilization equipment charges for the fleet and related management reports. Coordinate with both field and project management for weekly equipment reporting.
- Maintain accurate equipment records and various information systems for the fleet.
- Administer fleet fuel cards, GPS units, and license plates for the fleet.
- Maintain Safety (Smart Tagit) system for weekly reports and daily reminders, jobs and employees.
- Monitor driving violations and maintain related management reports. Also, assist with annual motor vehicle reports and filings. Maintain driver files in the HR system for physicals and daily inspection reports.
- Assist with training and certification monitoring and scheduling.
- Maintain OSHA Accident Log.
- Assist with administrative aspects of prequalification reports and workman’s compensation claims.
Qualifications for Fleet and Safety Specialist:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Construction and/or safety related experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office-related software applications
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within project teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
