In this role, you will be a member our rapidly growing Program & Project Management team. The PM team's standard is to 'manage each project like we own it'. We are currently looking for a Construction Project Manager specializing in healthcare facilities to support Clinical, Urgent Care and Ambulatory Care projects at a nationally recognized healthcare provider in the St. Helena, CA area. This opportunity will be an on-site Owner's Representative position.
Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
Define and establish project scope of work and develop overall project budgets
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
Lead the efforts of the project team regarding approvals from applicable agencies
Provide update/status reporting for work in progress including costs and schedules
Review Client’s overall Master Plan to ensure there are no project conflicts affecting sequencing of work
Devise bidding strategies including bid packaging and encouraging contractors to participate in the bid process
Administer the construction contracts
Approve pay requests of consultants and contractors
Conduct all job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes
Implement all applicable policies and procedures for the projects
Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering or construction management is preferred. A combination of education and work experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.
5-10 years' experience in all aspects of Project Delivery, Managing, Planning, Design, and Construction processes with a special emphasis on healthcare facilities.
Experience on large capital healthcare projects.
AIA, LEED, PMP, CCM or other related accreditations preferred.
Must be an excellent communicator with superior organizational skills and leadership qualities.
