Working in a team of highly motivated people like you, you’ll work with customers and be accountable for production incidents, problems, change management, internal and external communications, lifecycle management and product evolution. You’ll help develop functional goals and priorities that align with our overall strategy. You’ll collaborate with our talented and dedicated problem-solving technologists across the JPMorgan Chase & Co. global network.
Participate in all aspects of the change process for refresh projects including: execution, workflow management, escalation, and planning.
Participate in major change events ensuring planning, pre-checks, and execution are addressed leading to successful events.
Provide documentation of processes involved with support duties and contribute to the knowledge database.
Develop and support routine operational activities with automation
Work closely with peer teams to deliver high availability and optimum performance for customers
Change execution during weekend shift which is where the highest volume of complex and time sensitive production change is executed.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Expertise in product and infrastructure support
Knowledge of risk and controls landscape, ensuring company-wide standards are met
Executes within a customer-centric environment
3+ years of experience in the following:
VMWare ESXi operating platforms or other server operating systems
Server hardware and storage technologies (SAN/NAS)
Network and cabling technologies
Large data center environment experience preferred
MS Office suite of applications with an emphasis on VB scripting
Prefer at least one programming or scripting language - Shell, Python or PERL
Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Thinks creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
