The Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating office tasks and activities of the Home Care business. This position includes maintaining positive relationships with clients, and office team members.
This position entails establishing a positive presence as the initial contact for intake and will be responsible for helping as needed in areas of office organization, intake, scheduling, recruiting, and general upkeep of the office.
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE at least 1 year of administrative experience in HOME HEALTH or HOSPICE
- Knowledge of Intake and Scheduling
- Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and hiring best practices
- Excellent customer services skills and phone answering management experience
- Proficiency in computer skills (Google Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of scheduling software (preferred)
- Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates a multi-line phone system to receive and direct incoming calls.
- Initiates the hiring process including processing applications, background screening, interviewing, and reference verification.
- Intake and Scheduling
- Communicates new assignments and/or schedule to Staff
- Processes data necessary to initiate accurate payroll and billing processes.
- Processes employee applications, assists in other employment activities, screening, interviewing, reference checking, and new employee orientation according to established guidelines.
- Assists in setting up employee orientation and training.
- Assists with any filing duties and a variety of other clerical duties as necessary.
