The Red Hat Global Demand Center is looking for a Marketing Intern to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will create and run organic social media promotions for webinars and other demand-related conversion activities not covered by paid media tactics.
Primary job responsibilities
Create a framework for amplifying digital media assets across our marketing campaign programs including criteria for identification of such assets, criteria for identifying appropriate channels for amplification, assessing the right metrics to measure the performance, and reporting formats to different stakeholders
Pilot the implementation of this framework on two to three types of digital assets like webinars by identifying a list of digital assets that need better organic amplification in different regions
Devise strategies for social media promotion of those identified digital assets
Collaborate with the Campaign Analytics team to measure the effectiveness of these organic social media promotions
Present the findings back to the campaign program stakeholders and look for inputs to refine the framework
Provide solutions for loading, tracking, and tagging the assets in Aprimo and Salesforce.com (SFDC)
Passion about a career in digital marketing
Extensive knowledge of web and social media
Proficiency with Google Suite of productivity applications including Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree course; major in business, marketing, or communications is a plus
Direct experience with digital media is a plus
