Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an experienced and motivated Brand Manager to join the North America Hearthstone Publishing team. As a Brand Manager, you have a consistent track record of success in product and live service marketing, including a deep understanding of free-to-play acquisition, engagement, and monetization. This role will report directly to the Director of Publishing.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class marketing and brand strategies for Hearthstone, North America. With your experience in product and digital marketing, you will excel at marrying science and creativity to develop high performance campaigns that engage our players and achieve business objectives, working with cross-functional teams to execute.
You will also be supporting a wide range of brand and strategic initiatives. You should be able to approach challenges creatively and methodically, demonstrating data to deliver recommendations. You thrive in a dynamic, creative environment, and is well versed in prioritizing their work. You have a passion in cultivating relationships and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
Develop and execute go-to-market strategy and integrated live service marketing plans
Deliver strategic recommendations to grow user acquisition and player engagement
Set critical metrics and analyze marketing performance
Deliver ongoing recommendations to optimize user acquisition, engagement, and monetization
Analyze first party research and analytics, monitoring performance and deliver recommendations
Monitor and analyze sales, market share trends, and competitor activities
Run marketing budget, and P&L tracking
Create presentations and be able to clearly communicate information and capture commitment
Actively look for collaboration opportunities and partnerships to elevate marketing
Provide status updates to internal and external partners to ensure alignment
Plan and execute ongoing marketing activities for new expansions, sale and consumer promotions
Collaborate with teams including Global Publishing, Paid Media, and Developer teams
Minimum 5-7 years of marketing experience at top-tier companies with experience at e-commerce, consumer live service, mobile or interactive entertainment companies
Expertise in brand and digital with marketing channels
Strong business, analytical, and critical thinking skills
BA or BS from top-tier institution, MBA preferred
Able to effectively lead and complete multiple priorities and projects at a time
Excellent written and oral business communications skills
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel
Direct experience marketing free-to-play, live service games
Passion for and in-depth knowledge of Blizzard games
Loves highly reciprocal, cross-functional environment
