Role and Responsibilities
This position will support corporate B2B activities in the field and be active in supporting these marketing endeavors.
Assist with relationship development with Top 50 multi-family developers, general contractors, property owners and management companies.
Accountable for understanding of each developer and their appliance contracts.
Knowledge of RFP dates and coordination of submitting RFPs.
Ability to read a set of builder construction plans and cross-specify product
Ability to create pricing requests for pricing team, including product and programming specific to that account
Help create synergies between these top developers and our field selling force
Enable on-going negotiating skills development and education
Understand product gaps and communicate those to product development
Work with the NAE to operationalize contracts with Samsung Regional Sales Manager and Account Managers
Project management and forecasting
Relationship development with customer corporate and regional executives.
Strategic planning and operations
Problem-solving (defining what the problem is to be solved), actions and accountabilities working
Adapting to a new organization/function start-up environment within a large corporation
Trade customer relationship management
Analytical collect and condense data into information that can be acted on
Assist with creating plans and educational direction for program roll-out to customers
Skills and Qualifications
Sales Force. com
Power Point, Word and Excel software
At least 3 years’ experience working with the multi-family industry preferably in the home appliance industry
Working with large remote sales organizations
New process definition/documentation. Business case justification for system development investment.
Collaborating with local, regional or national industry associations, i. e. NAHB, NKBA, ASID
Key account management planning and operations
Sales planning, execution management and working strategically with a non-direct reporting sales force
Bachelor Degree and or equivalent experience. MBA is a plus.
