Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Specialist to join our team. The Pricing Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and implementing pricing strategies to optimize profitability and drive business growth. This position requires strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to achieve pricing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Analysis: Collaborate with sales, business development, and finance teams to set and adjust pricing based on market conditions and business objectives.
- Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate pricing databases and ensure all pricing information is up-to-date.
- Prepare regular reports on pricing performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations for pricing adjustments.
- Pricing Implementation:
- Implement approved pricing strategies across all products, submission to customers.
- Ensure pricing changes are accurately reflected in the company's systems and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor the impact of pricing changes on sales and profitability, making adjustments as needed.Collaboration and Communication:
Qualifications:
- Experience in pricing analysis, market research, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data management and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the wholesale distribution industry (Target POL, VIP, and other customer portals).
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Familiarity with pricing software and ERP systems.
