The Digital Marketing Specialist will support the brand’s marketing team by managing the execution of brand’s digital footprint. The Digital Marketing Specialist will manage all social media channels and owned content platforms, as well as evaluate and report the performance of all activity. This individual should demonstrate a passion for ideating and implementing the brand’s strategy and distribution plan to grow and engage with the community. The Digital Marketing Specialist should be an early-adopter of emerging media platforms, and display experience in content creation, moderation, contesting, and cross-functional team collaboration.

Primary Duties

Social Media Content Creation and Management (70%):
Collaborate with Digital Marketing team, internal creative team and external partners to determine social media strategy, including content strategy, platform strategy, and voice guide.
Strategically create and maintain monthly social editorial calendar across channels, sharing with key stakeholders with appropriate lead time.
Oversee daily management of social media content and communities across platforms.
Source content needed to support social media strategy, briefing internal creative team and agency partners on social content needs.
Produce dynamic content for social media using dynamic photography, attending events to capture content where needed; Continually search for storytelling opportunities in accordance with brand strategy..
Package full social media assets, including visual, copy, and functional tactics.
Develop consistent voice and personality for the brand in social media channels according to brand voice guidelines.
Implement and optimize social media platform functionality to drive reach and sales.
Plan and execute initiatives and contests to drive reach, engagement, acquisition and sales.
Keep ahead of current trends in social media. Make recommendations about new and creative approaches to community engagement and investment in emerging channels.
Collaborate with brand, ecommerce, retail, field and global teams to integrate content strategy where applicable to ensure a cohesive consumer experience.
Provide social media strategy, plan and assets for campaign launches to share with global partners via campaign launch manuals.
Build relationships with creators in the brand’s communities, identifying opportunities to seed product to generate a consistent flow of earned content.
Manage Brand Ambassador/Influencer programs with digital marketing team. Lead the brand in identifying new Ambassador opportunities, both internally and externally. Work closely with PR, brand and sports marketing to optimize influencer programs.
Educate athletes, providing updates and content to help support advocacy through their channels.
Proactively monitor social media channels and report non-compliant accounts as appropriate.
Act as point of contact for customer service-related questions. Funnel community comments and questions to the appropriate business owner.
Develop and maintain monthly social media reporting, making recommendations to optimize reach and engagement. Share results and key learnings with internal and international partners.

Digital Marketing Assistance (30%):
Work with Digital Marketing team to execute strategy - determine creative requirements, craft creative briefs, liaise with creative team in the development and delivery of site, blog and campaign content
Assist with digital media management
Coordinate and assist with photo/ video studio shoots
Assist with digital media program execution and tracking
Work with internal and external partners as needed to launch campaigns and traffic creative assets with appropriate tracking attributes
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Passion for digital marketing and a super-user of social media platforms
Highly creative, innovative thinker who seeks out emerging trends and opportunities
Experience with social media management, community management, and reporting tools
Photography and creative writing skills
Comfortable and organized multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously as well as be part of a team
Effective time management and prioritization skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Pro-active, positive self-starter with an ability to identify issues and areas of opportunity
Strong computer skills, in depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint or Keynote. Photoshop a plus.
4-year undergraduate degree
1+ years of digital marketing/ social media experience for consumer brands. Fashion or retail brand experience preferred
Some travel required
