Prevention Links, a $3 million nonprofit in Union County, is seeking an accountant/office manager. Must be detailed oriented, have good knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Accounting knowledge and good communication skills a must.

We are looking for an Accountant/Office Manager who can interface with our partners and staff. The position is in charge of the basic accounting, small grants, payroll, managing benefits, and other office manager functions. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional, who is able to multi-task and stay very well organized. The Position reports to both the CEO and the Director of Finance.

Position Responsibilities:

Entering and paying bills from QuickBooks, creating invoices, and entering checks received.

Creating and maintain expense allocations in alignment with the grants.

Processing biweekly payroll.

Reconcile credit card account

Process monthly journal entries and keeps schedules on balances

Onboarding new employees

Preparing small grant reports

Organize HR policies and procedures

Monitor office supplies, ensure stock, and reorder as needed for multiple sites

Manage HR benefits

Maintain link between CEO and Division/Site Directors to ensure important information is conveyed.

Make travel/meeting and event arrangements

General clerical Duties including, but not limited to, copying, faxing, fling, and mailings

Handles all Agency business in a confidential matter

Required Duties:

Must be able to perform work responsibilities in various locations.

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment

Must maintain an understanding of all programs, grants, and projects offered by Organization.

Must be able to speak and write English

Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time

Must be able to lift 25 pounds and carry such weight for a distance of 50 feet

Must completed all other duties and tasks as requested by the CEO or the Director of Finance

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Education and Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and proficiency in QuickBooks if required. A Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or Associates in Accounting with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Travel: Domestic travel may be required for this full-time position. Local, independent travel is required.

Evening and Weekend Availability: There is limited but occasional evenings and weekend work required during periods of high volume.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $41,000.00 to $46,000.00 /year
