Job Summary
Under limited supervision performs a variety of fetal examinations utilizing diagnostic ultrasound in accordance with American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) guideline to assist the maternal fetal medicine specialist with diagnosis and treatments. Knowledge and use of Viewpoint reporting/storage system and EPIC for managing patient information. Assists physicians in guiding for invasive procedures, i.e. amniocentesis, CVS, fetal blood transfusions, etc. Being part of a great multidisciplinary team!

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Graduation from an AMA and/or CAAHP approved school of Ultrasound Technology
  • Registered in Obstetrics and Gynecology or eligible for registry by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
  • Registry in OB/GYN expected within one year; NT certification expected within 2 years.
  • CPR certification
  • One (1) year of experience performing diagnostic ultrasound studies (preferred)
