Full Job Description
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations or equivalent practical experience.
Operational and leadership experience across automation and process improvement initiatives.
Experience with change management across capacity planning, resource management and delivery, new product introduction, and/or infrastructure deployment.
8 years of experience in one or more of the following disciplines: data center/network/server infrastructure, supply chain operations, cloud operations.
Experience in supply chain, supply and demand planning or data center/infrastructure deployments.
IT/software project management experience.
Demonstrated ability to drive change with a long-term perspective across multiple functions to transform the business.
Demonstrated balance of strategic vision and execution skills.
Proven track record of delivering results on-time and under budget, while navigating a fast-paced environment with frequent shift in priorities.

Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.
As a Program Manager, you will work on complex cross-functional projects that require business process mapping. You will learn from the subject matter experts and reflect this information in standardized formats and you will coordinate user acceptance testing of new program releases, enabling scalability.

Learn, document, and organize the many different and technical business processes associated with Machine Delivery, both physical and virtual. Lead complex strategic programs as required.
Be an owner for the organization of as-is and to-be processes across Machine Delivery.
Design, write, and execute test cases as part of user acceptance testing for new program releases.
Work with subject matter experts to understand and anticipate needs and take ownership for this function across a large multi-disciplined team. Serve as the key responsible party for pursuing sign off of requirements as intended.
Flag process gaps and make recommendations to subject matter experts. Seek broad cross-functional alignment as required.
